Scorpion Sports Gifts
Hello, I’m Jane and I run Scorpion Sports Gifts. I’m an LTA Development Coach who coaches mini tennis to young children in the rural area in which I live.Tired of just giving chocolates and sweets to my pupils as end of term treats and prizes, I decided to search around for some tennis related products. I couldn’t find anything suitable so decided to try and design and source my own. Being a parent of young children myself, I expected that, like me, they would appreciate their children getting useful treats that would last longer than a sweet! I also thought that if I, as a coach, was interested in doing this then other coaches would be too.
A couple of years of market research and product development time culminated in the launch of Scorpion Sports Gifts in 2004 with 7 product lines exclusively for mini tennis prizes. Since then we have expanded our range offering products ideal as club tournament prizes and Birthday and Christmas gifts for tennis lovers everywhere.
In 2007 to cope with the increased demand from the Trade, we created dedicated Trade Web Pages which has not only seen a dramatic increase in the number of Trade sales but also an increased efficiency in our order processing.
In 2009 we upgraded our website and created easier access to our Trade site for Trade customers.
In May 2011 we launched our new website which not only looks brighter but is easier to use. We have incorporated our most popular Trade Sales items into our new Coaches and Clubs Corner thereby making Trade ordering part of our main site. No more log-in time, just great deals!
Almost all our products are unique to Scorpion and we have plenty of ideas for new products, both our own ideas and those from customers. Whenever you read this we will be working on introducing a new product to our range!
Although we sell almost exclusively tennis gifts, we hope one day to offer unique gifts for other sports too.
